ভূমিকা 

পরমাণু শক্তি কেন্দ্রের গবেষণা ও উন্নয়ন কাজে ব্যবহৃত সকল ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স যন্ত্রপাতি সচল রাখার লক্ষে¨ ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স বিভাগ যন্ত্রপাতি রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ, মেরামত এবং স্থাপনার কাজে সেবা প্রদান করে।ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স বিভাগে প্রতিবছর চাহিদা সাপেক্ষে এ্যানালাইটিক্যাল, নিউক্লিয়ার, মেডিকেল ও অন্যান্য সায়েন্টিফিক যন্ত্র মেরামত করা হয়।এ ছাড়া কম্পিউটার ও সংশ্লিষ্ট যন্ত্রপাতিসহ ইন্টারকম সিস্টেম সচল ও রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ এই বিভাগের কর্মকাণ্ডের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স প্রযুক্তির উত্তরোত্তর উন্নয়নের সাথে সামঞ্জস্য বজায় রাখার লক্ষে¨ মেরামত ও রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের পাশাপাশি এই বিভাগে ডিজাইন ও ডেভেলপমেন্ট এর উপর কাজ করা হয়।কেন্দ্রের গবেষণা ও উন্নয়ন কাজ ত্বরান্বিত ও যান্ত্রিক সুবিধাদি বর্ধন করার উদ্দেশ্যে এই বিভাগে বিশেষ যন্ত্র ডিজাইন করা হয়।যন্ত্রপাতি ডিজাইন ও ডেভেলপমেন্ট এর ক্ষেত্রে মাইক্রোপ্রসেসর ও মাইক্রোকন্ট্রোলার ভিত্তিক এম্বেডেড সিস্টেম, পারসোনাল কম্পিউটার ভিত্তিক সিস্টেম, এফ পিজি এ ভিত্তিক সিস্টেম এর সংযোজন করে ল্যাব এ সুবিধাদি উন্নয়ন করা হয়েছে।ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স প্রযুক্তিতে দক্ষ জনশক্তি তৈরীর মাধ্যমে ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে জাতীয় পর্যায়ে প্রশিক্ষণ কোর্সের আয়োজন করা হয়।।
